Gabriel was born in Liberia, West Africa, to the late Gabriel Himie Neufville, Sr. and Comfort Ayele Ireland. He has a bachelor's degree in sociology, with emphases in demography, from the University of Liberia; he holds a master's in China politics from Renmin University of China, Beijing, China, June 2020, and has several certificates and awards from the Foreign Language Department at Changsha University of Science and Technology, Hunan Province, China, where he studied Chinese language and culture from 2003-2004.
Being a devoted Christian, Gabriel has several certificates in Christian leadership and education and has served in church leadership in Asia (China), the United States, and Africa. Before moving to the United States, Gabriel served as the co-founder & senior pastor of the Promised Land Assembly, a church he co-founded with a Chinese couple who were founders of a house church in Changsha, China, and faculty members at the Changsha University of Science and Technology.
In addition to his God-given assignment, he has spent about a decade as a Chinese Mandarin interpreter for several Chinese enterprises in China and Africa. They include Joylive Elevator and Lifts Company, Kunshan Suzhou, China; Chongqing International Construction Corporation (CICO), Liberia; East International Group, Liberia; and Dalian Construction Company, Liberia, among others.
In a quest to further serve humanity in his communities, Gabriel has chosen to become a nurse and is currently in the BSN Program at Rasmussen University in Fargo, North Dakota.
Gabriel is married to Elizabeth Sonpon Neufville, and their marriage is blessed with four boys, Gideon, Elibriel, Gabeth, and Elgar Neufville. Gabriel loves to play soccer and basketball but is inspired by listening to and passionately singing worship songs.
